cold money

I can only recall a few snippets of dreams.

In one dream I was in an arcade, and I walked up to one game to join my friend who was already playing. I had trouble getting the machine to accept my quarter, since every time I put it in it just fell back out again. Getting annoyed I was trying various ways of inserting it; slow release, fast release, one right after the other...all sorts of combinations. At one point while I was screwing around with the coin slot part of it halfway fell open and loonies began to fall out (for those not familiar with Canadian money, that's our pet name for the one dollar coin, because it has a picture of a waterbird, a loon, on it). As the money slowly began to fall out I glanced up at my friend who half had her eye on her game and half on what was going on below with me. I asked her if anyone was watching and she glanced around and then said no. I asked her again if I should turn this money in or if I should keep it..in other words, if there was any chance I could be seen taking the money...and she again said no. So I scooped up all the coins from the slot and began shoving them in my pockets.
Can't remember what happened after that other than me moving on to play a few other games.

In another dream I was having a conversation with a fellow blogger, si, about about God. All I can really recall is discussing her path to God and her personal faith. She talked about how her faith had waned when she was younger, but had grown stronger in recent years. I remember admiring her strong faith and wishing I felt the same strong faith in my own life.
*shrug* Odd for me to be dreaming about other bloggers that I've never even met, isn't it?? lol

coming back to haunt me

I had this dream about my old best friend. For some reason I dreamt I had taken everything she had given me and piled it in the hallway outside my apartment (I suppose to eventually throw it out, I have no idea). I had opened the door to toss something else out onto the pile when I saw her come into the hallway. I groaned when I saw her and walked back into my apartment leaving the door open behind me so she could follow me in. She came in and sat down and I asked what she was doing here. She said she was here to talk and work things out. I told her I wasn't interested in working it out, thanks very much. LOL.
After that I don't remember much else except that I found an old textbook from a grade school geography class. For some reason as I flipped through the book I seemed *very* excited to see what I had learned in grade six. LOL. Weird.
