Once again, I'm coming up short with wonderful tales about sugar plums dancing in my head. All I remember from last night's dream was that I was sitting and talking with
Tom Hanks. He seemed very gentle, warm and soft spoken. From the conversation it seemed like he had been a teacher of mine in school some years before he got famous, or something. It doesn't all add up, but dreams rarely do. Just add Tom to
the cast of celebrities who have been making appearances in my dreams recently.
Dream recall seems to have become a problem again. As soon as I open my eyes any dreams I may have remembered immediately start to fade away. It's like trying to hold onto sand....
Anyway. I'm pretty sure you don't want to hear about a dream I had concerning work. Coz unless you know anything about
merchandising,
slat wall or
fixtures you're going to find it mighty boring. (even if you DO know something about these things it would likely *still* be boring, coz there's just no way to jazz these topics up into something thrilling to read)
The only thing I can recall from last night was that I was actually IN a music video for
Sophie B. Hawkins, and the only reason I even remembered
that much was because I happened to hear the very same song on the radio this morning while driving to work. Odd, no? And by 'in the video' I don't mean that I was a dancer or something, I was just walking around while the video was going on, like I was IN the tv or something, and remarking to myself about how weird it was. I noted how strange things looked because you kinda knew it wasn't reality. Never heard of Sophie? Yeah, she was a bit of a one hit wonder in the early 90's with a song called "Damn, I Wish I Was Your Lover". I liked her and bought a couple of her albums.
